Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our cannabis cultivation facility during our 2nd shift. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately monitoring, tracking, and recording all inventory movements and transactions within the cultivation center. Your attention to detail and efficient organizational skills will ensure the smooth operation of the cultivation facility, compliance with regulations, and a consistent supply of high-quality cannabis products.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations to maintain accurate records of cannabis plants, harvested products, consumables, and packaging materials.
2. Utilize inventory management software to update inventory movement in real-time and generate s for analysis.
3. Conduct regular physical inventory audits to verify inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies or loss.
4. Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability and any shortages or excessive inventory to the supervisor.
6. Prepare and label inventory items for production or distribution following the appropriate protocols and compliance requirements.
7.Analyze and optimize inventory procedures to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and prevent errors or losses.
9. Assist in coordinating and executing product recalls when necessary, ensuring proper documentation and timely communication to all relevant parties.
10. Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area, ensuring proper labeling, shelving, and rotation of products.
11. Work diligently to achieve and maintain a high level of accuracy in all inventory-related tasks.
12. Contribute to a safe work environment by following safety protocols and ing any potential hazards or issues.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience as an inventory clerk or related position is highly preferred.
3. Familiarity with inventory management software and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
4. Understanding of and ability to comply with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to cannabis cultivation and inventory control.
5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
10. Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds and perform general labor duties as needed.
