NATIONWIDE PRODUCTS Hiring for Logistics Clerk at Abilene, TX Full Time

Logistic Clerks prepare daily shipment paperwork and arrange the particulars of incoming and outgoing shipments. They choose transportation methods based on factors such as size, cost, weight, and transit times. The logistics clerk receives customer orders form the customer service department and ensures that the orders get shipped out on time. They notify the warehouse of what will be shipping out by sending out spreadsheets, pick lists, and other shipping paperwork. The logistics clerk guarantees that all paperwork is done accurately and is completed on time with the deadlines that are given. Also, that the shipment has all necessary paperwork. They are also to keep Nation Wide Products up to date on all customer shipping guidelines. The logistics clerk’s job also entails downloading order, invoicing, and uploading invoices and ASNs. They are to reconcile daily EDI s and dispute any freight rate changes or detention fees. The logistics clerk will monitor inventory daily as the orders are downloaded, enter the daily builds, and complete a weekly shortage .

Job includes but is not limited to the following:

• Daily Task Email
• Prepare Daily Shipping Paperwork
• Ground
• LTL
• TL
• Schedule outgoing and incoming Shipments
• Get at least three quotes for each LTL and TL Shipments
• Keep Pick up Calendar and Dock schedule updated
• Keep Nation Wide Products up to date on all customer shipping guidelines
• Routing Guides, ASNs, etc.
• Daily Invoicing
• EDI download and upload
• Reconcile daily EDI s
• Dispute any freight rate changes or detention fees
• Monitor inventory daily as orders are downloaded
• Weekly shortage
• Daily Build paperwork
• Employee will be cross trained in additional office roles to be established as back up when necessary for those roles in times of absences or vacation.

Job requires a general knowledge of logistics processes and procedures. Must be organized and detail oriented. Must have the ability to multitask. Will be required to use QuickBooks, Excel, and customer portals.

Daily ing directly to Logistics Manager.

8am-5pm
