The beautiful World Equestrian Center – Wilmington is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team! Located at 4095 OH 730, our beautiful facility is expanding quickly and looking for a motivated individual to add to our accounting team.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting department including but not limited to internal controls, policies and procedures, cash, internal audits, budgeting, forecasting, credit analysis. Analyze financial data Participates and provides accurate and timely reports reflecting the financial condition of the property. Hires, trains and supervises the Accounting team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Establishes or recommends to management major economic objectives and policies for the property.
• Plans and implements procedures and systems.
• Prepares reports which summarize and forecast business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
• Assist in preparation of budgets.
• Advises management about insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities.
• Advises management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax code revisions.
• Arranges for audits of property accounts.
• Prepares reports for regulatory agencies.
• Prepares and negotiates different contracts.
• Maintains files for all contracts, insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities.
• Maintains good relations with ownership, and outside organizations such as banks, auditors, etc.
• Provides continuous direction to and education of the operation team in all areas related to finance, financial reports, internal controls, labor management, payroll, month end reconciliation, P&L performance, etc.
• Have complete knowledge of all policies, standards and procedures of the department.
• Liaison for IT outsource
• Participate in the properties Executive Committee which is responsible for planning and leading the property and Outlets.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

• College degree in Accounting / Business and minimum of 3 years management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in finance related computer programs, including Excel, Word, and Quick Books.
• Knowledge of city, county, state and Federal regulations related to maintain and reporting on financial data.
• Ability to effectively interact in a professional manner with management team, guests, condo owners, and Resort ownership.
• Excellent organizational, time management, computer skills and strong analytical skills.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
