We are looking for two (2) Storesperson to support our Real Property Planning and Management Branch. The Storesperson would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
The ideal candidates would be individuals who are flexible, adaptable, and great at multi-tasking in order to perform the variety of tasks that may be assigned to them. The Storesperson would be responsible for the accurate, timely and efficient provision of customer service in the areas of stocked item counter service, shipping, receiving, inventory control, stock rotation, in conjunction with an inventory management system.
The successful candidates may be reassigned on a temporary or permanent basis to other stores or shipping/receiving location in the National Capital Region as and when required to meet service requirements.
Screening Criteria
Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience
Basic* experience serving customers in a store environment.
Basic* experience in shipping, receiving, verifying accuracy of shipments and inventory control.
Basic* experience in data entry.
Basic* experience working with an inventory management database such as SAP or any other similar programs.
ASSETS:
Experience with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
Experience as a mail clerk.

To have and maintain the physical abilities to perform the duties of this position including the ability to lift/carry up to 45lbs, to twist, bend, and reach.

Relocation
Relocation assistance will be determined in accordance with the NRC’s directives.
Compensation
Salaries under review.
From $40,275 to $51,610 per annum.
In addition, the incumbent who meets the language requirements of the Imperative Bilingual BBB/BBB position will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
