National Presto Industries Hiring for Digital Content Lead at Eau Claire, WI Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY: The Digital Content Associate assists with creating and coordinating marketing communications activity for National Presto Industries, Inc. including videos, static images, social media, company website; trade show exhibits; product publicity; market research; and print, on-line and television advertising.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• BA in advertising, marketing communications, journalism, or another relevant field.
• 3+ years of advertising and/or marketing communications experience preferred.
• Solid background in content production and editing for digital media.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• A passion and interest for creating content with a creative eye and communicating brand stories through digital media.
• Strategic insight into the current state and future direction of content and social media trends.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency with Video Editing Software (Premiere, Final Cut, After Effects, etc.).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Proficiency with studio equipment (Camcorders, DSLRS, Audio, Continuous and Strobe Lighting).
• High level of organization, attention to detail and ability to work independently to prioritize tasks.
• Must be able to work closely with personnel from other company departments including Sales, Engineering, Legal, and Service.
• Creative thoughtful problem solver who enjoys brainstorming and pitching ideas.
• Interest in cooking, food, and being around a kitchen environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist with creation of print, digital and television advertising, product packaging, product videos, product photography.
• Participate in the filming of product and promotional videos, including appearing on-screen, operating products, and arranging equipment.
• Must demonstrate extreme attention to detail.

  ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

• Work is performed indoors in normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, fumes, or temperature changes.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Extensive computer use at workstation of up 90-95% of the work day
• Mobility within the office, which includes movement from one department to another
• Must be able to access files in file cabinets
• Use of computer, printer, copier, FAX, scanner, cameras, laminator, cutting boards, and adhesive rollers

JOB STATUS: Full Time

FLSA: Non-exempt
