National Grid Hiring for Talent Aquisition Specialist Job at Warwick, West Midlands, England Full Time

We are hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist in our People and Culture department in Warwick, UK and will support National Grid Ventures (NGV). This is a 12 month FTC role. This role offers a vast array of recruitment opportunities so that no two days are the same and there is continued opportunity to learn and grow in your role.

Key accountabilities

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play a key support role in delivering effective end-to-end recruitment strategies to deliver National Grid Venture’s (NGV) current and future people requirements. You’ll manage and develop stakeholder relationships while enhancing our employer brand. As part of our hybrid working approach, this role offers a mix of office working in Warwick and home working. You’ll have the opportunity to work on:

• Taking a hiring brief: Partner with the Hiring Manager to discuss new recruitment, gain useful information on the requirement and consult on the recruitment process and sourcing strategy; and managing expectations
• Advertising: Advertise vacancies internally and externally, effectively copywriting adverts
• Interview and assessment: Consult with Hiring Managers on interview and assessment techniques
• Candidate management: Manage candidates through the end to end recruitment process ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout
• Screening and shortlisting: Screening and shortlisting candidates to ensure they meet the hiring manager brief
• Metrics and KPIs: Proactively working to recruitment metrics, monitoring and driving time to offer, time to hire and hiring manager and candidate experience
• Inclusion and diversity: Implementing best practise to ensure our processes are inclusive and encouraging best practise with hiring managers
• Executing and managing administrative tasks around the recruitment process

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Excellent knowledge of recruitment practices gained from a recruitment agency or in-house recruitment support background.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and project management capability.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a collaborative working style.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• To be adept at using social media for recruitment and employer branding purposes.
• Experience of using LinkedIn Recruiter us very helpful
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (SuccessFactors is a big plus).

What you’ll get

A competitive salary between £32,000-38,000– dependent on capability

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
