National Grid Hiring for Talent Acquisition Partner Job at Warwick, West Midlands, England Full Time

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll play a key role in delivering effective end-to-end recruitment strategies to deliver the Global Group Functions current and future people requirements. You’ll manage and develop stakeholder relationships while creating a positive employer brand. As part of our hybrid working approach, this role offers a mix of office working in Warwick and home working. You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Partner with the our Global Group Functions business areas, build relationships and be responsible for sourcing, attracting, selecting, and recruiting high-quality candidates.
• Map external markets, organisations and trends to identify, source, and deliver strong talent pipelines and recruitment insights to the Global Group Functions business areas.
• Work collaboratively within team to create efficient and cost effective sourcing strategies and marketing campaigns, using tolls such as employee referral methodologies, social media, and headhunting to drive direct sourcing.
• Screen candidates to ascertain fit to available position using behavioral and competency based interview methodologies. Provide high quality, pre-vetted shortlist of candidates to hiring managers.
• Work with the business, People & Culture and Strategic Workforce Planning colleagues to develop talent pipelines for niche/hard to fill positions.
• Proactively work to recruitment metrics, monitoring and driving time to offer and time to hire.
• Manage candidates through the end-to-end recruitment process ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
• Actively participate in University Recruiting, Job Fairs, Veterans, and other DEI best hiring practises to ensure an inclusive recruitment process that promotes and ensures the National Grid brand externally is at the forefront of all recruiting activities.

About you

• Excellent knowledge of recruitment practices gained from in-house recruitment background and/or a recruitment agency at a senior level.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and project management capability.
• Experience in hiring in multiple countries is a plus, specifically UK and USA.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a collaborative working style with all levels of the organization and external clients.
• Ability to multi-task; be flexible and manage changing priorities, effectively.
• Expertise in vendor management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adept at using social media for recruitment and employer branding purposes.
• Experience of using LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Experience of using SuccessFactors would be a bonus.
• Energetic and enthusiastic ambassador of the National Grid brand.
• Tenacious and driven to succeed.

What you’ll get

A competitive salary between £38,000 – £49,000 – dependent on capability.

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
