The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support the Human Resources team in customer service, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, learning and development, payroll, and administration.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing correspondence while providing front-line customer service to internal and external stakeholders of the NGV. Other key responsibilities include:
To be successful, you will have completed or nearing the completion of a tertiary degree in human resources or an equivalent qualification. You seek to meet customer needs and are committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients. You set personal standards of excellence and measure outcomes against them, and strive to deliver outcomes in a timely manner. You can prepare basic letters, contracts and emails using clear, concise, and grammatically correct language, organise information in a logical sequence and include content appropriate for the purpose and audience.
You observe fine details, ensure accuracy, identify information gaps, and look for logical sequences of information. You can plan and track progress on work tasks, support others in time management, use time efficiently, take an organised, methodical approach to work, and address priority tasks first.
