Duties and Responsibilities

Job Description/Duties

The Business Requirements Analyst’s role is to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of project stakeholders, whether they are customers or end users. This includes interviewing stakeholders and gathering and compiling user requirements to convey to development teams throughout the software lifecycle. The Business Analyst will also apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the development process, and to ensure that project deliverables are met according to specifications. The specialist will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Sound Experience in Business/Systems Analysis

• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with different business stakeholders, clients, and team

• Strong expertise in technical documentation like Data Flow Diagrams, Use Cases, Functional Specifications, High Level Design, etc.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Analytical skills

• Proven ability to understand business ideas/problems and develop technology solutions enable/solve business ideas/problems

• Ability to understand customer needs and perform sound business analysis work Ability to comprehend and translate business requirements into technical specifications

• Experience in developing Software Requirements Specification (SRS)

• Familiarity with JIRA and GITHUB.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux operating systems

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Additional Information:

– A background check and fingerprinting will be required

– Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams

– DFS does not provide parking, but the office is accessible by bus or subway

1. – Once training has been provided, DFS currently has a 50% telecommuting policy in place

Nature of Work: 7.5 Hrs/Day, Day Shift, M-F 9am-5:00pm

Duration: Full Time, Temporary, Anticipated duration of assignment is 1 Year plus possible Extension

Salary Range: $ 64.00 to $65.00 /Hour- There are no benefits. No Holiday Pay. No Sick Hrs Benefit. Person gets paid for the hours they work on weekly basis.

Start date: $64.00 per Hour

6 months from start date: $64.50 per Hour

12 months from start date: $65.00 per Hour—(If assignment extended)
