Position Title: Marketing Manager

s to: Director, Corporate Operations

Supervises: N/A

Position Description

Shapes, promotes, and protects the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP) corporate image in ways that align with NASP’s mission to elevate the practice of specialty pharmacy through education, certification, advocacy, and connectivity. Formulates, supports, and implements a wide range of communication and marketing campaigns designed to maintain positive awareness of NASP. Develops and manages an effective annual marketing and communication plan. Designs print and digital marketing materials and collateral that reflect and adhere to the NASP brand and comply with quality standards. Provides support to the NASP team, the board of directors, and NASP members.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Create and implement comprehensive marketing and communication plans and strategies
• Enhance NASP’s voice and presence through online and offline channels
• Co-develop and support effective conference and event strategies with internal and external partners
• Collaborate with team members to develop, implement and manage a social media strategy and post schedule for various communication channels to include LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
• Measure and on the success of all public relations, media, promotional, and social media campaigns
• Co-develop web design with internal and external partners and create engaging, timely websites
• Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
• Collaborate in the development of marketing materials, such as membership, sales, education, member benefits, services, and events collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met
• Oversee marketing and communication materials’ quality, and ensure deadline and budget adherence
• Push for creative ideas and be purposeful and enterprising in problem-solving
• Conduct industry research and analysis to identify new opportunities to elevate the NASP brand
• Assist with the establishment of a culture of teamwork and service excellence

Requirements

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Graphic design skills and experience using Adobe Creative Suite
• Website design and maintenance experience
• A strong eye for visual composition
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertisements, and multimedia design
• Accountable, responsible, and flexible
• Strong team player
• Strong computer skills including demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe products
• Attention to detail
• Ability to relate and interact well with all levels of management and staff as well as NASP members, potential members, consultants, and vendors in a tactful, friendly, and professional manner
• Ability to work from home using company-provided equipment
• Ability to travel to NASP meetings and functions, as needed

Education

• Preferred Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, communication, or related degree track

Physical Requirements

• In an 8-hour day, the employee sits approximately 7 hours
• In an 8-hour day, the employee may stand/walk approximately 1 hour
• In an 8-hour day, the employee may be asked to lift/carry 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
