NASCO inc. is Looking for Fly Person/Operator (FT) Full Time
Nasco is hiring a Fly Person/Operator! The Flyperson must stand at the rail to control the scenery and specifically timed cues called by the Stage Manager during a show. They must rehearse their cues repeatedly to ensure that the set pieces come in at the correct time, as well as perform rigging and safety checks to ensure the system is properly weighted and functioning correctly.
Required Skills:
- Working experience in a film of theatre set.
- Experience as a stage hand, or fly person.
- Knowledge of safety precautions.
- Attentiveness / Cautiousness.
- Physical ability to fly in and out of heavy scenery.
- Comfortability with heights.
This position is a part of the house crew. The rate of pay is $26.50 per hour with overtime paid.
