Overview
The talent acquisition consultant rolesources, interviews and leads the selection process for filling open roles via new hire and transfers.
Creates pipelines of talent ahead of need (both internally and externally), and identifies and pursues creative sources of qualified applicants to meet the needs of the business.
The role is also responsible for sharing the brand of the organization and networking with candidates using a variety of avenues.
Acts as consultant to hiring managers and their teams for all aspects of the selection process. Partners with hiring managers, to identify, implement and evaluate hiring strategies.
Integrates technology practices for finding candidates and managing the candidate workflow. Assists with leading the Talent Acquisition team in process improvements and creating an amazing experience for candidates, hiring managers and interview teams.
Communicates to Manager regarding status of projects and initiatives and communicates with manager and hiring managers regarding status of open positions.

Responsibilities
Supports the development and maintenance of Talent Acquisition practices in alignment with the overall organizational strategy in compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and company policies
Develops and manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners including maintaining a presence in the technical and product healthcare industry
Leads meetings with stakeholders in order to obtain the necessary information required to source and hire
Sources candidates on social networks and niche platforms
Identifies active and passive candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications
Develops candidate pipelines for future openings and hard-to-fill jobs, leveraging appropriate technology and external recruiting sources
Executes innovative strategies to find quality candidates
Manages all Talent Acquisition related administration, including Applicant Tracking System updates, notes and workflows, at the time the action occurs and provides weekly updates to stakeholders
Acts as SME for the applicant tracking system
Measures, analyzes, and s on Talent Acquisition practices against established metrics
Manages due diligence ensuring background results meet company criteria
Suggests short and long-term solutions for identified candidate needs
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be clear, concise and influence others
Excellent analytical skills in order to assess organization needs and candidate ability by asking the right questions
Excellent organization and interpersonal skills in order to manage work, organize events and sell the company
Intermediate level negotiation skills
Intermediate level knowledge and skills in using job boards, resume databases, the internet and Applicant Tracking Systemsfor sourcing candidates
Must demonstrate use of good judgment in planning, prioritizing and making selection decisions
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of technology terms and technical processes
Must be comfortable maintaining an up to date and active professional social media presence
Required Experience :
5 years’ managing the recruitment and hiring process and selecting talent for a variety of roles and levels
2 years’ experience with applicant tracking system or customer relationship management systems or equivalent
Required Training, Certification and Education :
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational psychology, business or relevant field
SHRM, AIRS, Recruiter Academy certified recruiter program, HRCI or equivalent certification within 18 months of hire

Working Conditions :
Must be able to sit and use equipment at workstation for up to 8 hours daily
