This position requires a seasoned EMS professional with extensive experience in modernized online hybrid educational programs with a diverse student base to be the Medical Education Program Manager for NAR Training. This NART Associate performs curriculum research, development, writing, delivery, review, updating, quality control, and sales functions and will receive taskings based upon the educational and training requirements of the organization. Additionally, this position is responsible for developing solutions to meet specific requirements and objectives received from external sources (e.g.. government contract opportunities). The successful candidate will be expected to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment while maintaining all medical training accreditations and credentialling.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides Operational Medicine curriculum development and course instruction for NAR Training, ensuring training products are built and updated to the highest quality to keep NAR Training curricula, exams, and courses relevant and in-demand
Actively participates in teaching classroom sessions, skills labs, and field scenarios
Ensures all curricula and curricula-supporting documentation is highly organized and saved to a NAR enterprise compliant network drive Curriculum Vault System (CVS)
Populates and maintains the CVS folders with all course offerings that exist in the NAR Training portfolio
Writes, formats, organizes, and manages NAR Training curricula as comprehensive programs of instruction, containing all the information a course manager, instructor, and support person requires to properly execute the training
Coordinates with the NAR Training leadership and manages access permissions, secure back-up plans, and all aspects of data management and business continuity regarding the CVS
Incorporates version control processes when updates and changes are made to files in the CVS
Develops and implements a Curriculum Continuous Improvement Program (CCIP) and makes updates to curricula when the Committee of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC), Institute of Surgical Research (ISR), DoD, National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), and other regulatory and credentialing authorities make doctrinal changes or new medicine best practices emerge
Ensures the CCIP also includes curricula quality control and updates that are driven by student and instructor critiques, AARs, and lessons learned
Selects, mentors, and evaluates a fully capable, qualified, and standardized cadre of medical instructors and support personnel
Meets with prospective customers, develops positive NAR Training client relationships, and promotes the sales of NAR Training and Education programs
Contributes to NAR Marketing and Communications (MARCOM) in the development of content to ensure successful attainment of NAR enterprise goals
Assists with the testing and evaluation of products and solutions used in the NAR Training program environment.
Identifies “gaps” during authorized customer training sessions and provides real-time product and/or capability feedback to the NAR Innovation Team
Assists all organizations within NAR to facilitate initiatives in sourcing and/or developing equipment and training related customer solutions
SUPPLEMENTARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes any tasks and/or projects assigned by supervisor
AUTHORITY
Develops, approves, and implements Operational Medicine curricula, lesson plans, schedules, and related items
Selects, trains, and coordinates a team of qualified educators and support personnel to complete Operational Medicine Education and Training programs
Ensures the highest quality equipment, logistics, and support materials are serviceable and available for all appropriate training programs
Coordinates with NAR leadership to develop and maintain a network of vendors and educators to facilitate an expandable scope and scale capability for NAR Training programs throughout the world
Defines education and training facilities requirements and coordinates with NAR management accordingly to ensure training is completed in a network of safe, reliable, realistic, and budget-conscious facilities
ACCOUNTABILITY
Ensures all education and training programs are in compliance with approved NAR Training medical control protocols as well as local, state, and federal standards, rules, and regulations
Ensures processes and controls are in place to deliver training programs with technically accurate content
Ensures that training programs are safe to execute and are executed in a fiscally responsible manner with regards to resource utilization
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Associates Degree and/or six to eight years relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree and/or ten years relevant experience
Competency and Skills
Understands the protocols and proper training methods as an instructor within the following:
USSOCOM Advanced Tactical Paramedic (ATP) or National Registry of EMT’s Paramedic (NRP)
IBSC Critical Care Paramedic and / or Flight Paramedic Certified
Basic Life Support Training Center Faculty or Instructor
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Training Center Faculty or Instructor
Pediatric Advanced Life Support Training Center Faculty or Instructor
NAEMT – Course Coordinator and/or Faculty
Communicates with other team members proficiently
Displays business acumen, performance management, organization, and presentation skills
Identifies and resolves problems in training program processes
Competent in accurately budgeting/forecasting costs associated with executing training courses
Experience
Ten years functioning as a Critical Care/Flight Paramedic
Four years minimum as a Program Manager and/or Coordinator for an accredited medical Continuing Education Program (CEP).
Experience in instructional design, course development, and providing curriculum or other training content to an extensive external customer base.
Greater than one year experience managing and operating fully accredited online hybrid EMS programs.
Specific Characteristics
Demonstrates a strong background in civilian and military tactical medicine and an applied knowledge and/or experience in credentialing and student learning measurement
Demonstrates a proven understanding of training delivery including both traditional and web-based model.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge in pursuing/maintaining training center credentialing and accreditations to include but not limited to;

DEMANDS
Time and Availability
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours each week from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. or some variation thereof
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
Travel
Ability to travel long distances by car and airplane for up to 50% of job duties.
Ability to be absent from home for multiple days at a time and multiple times per year to support training and marketing efforts at locations worldwide
Ability to travel to our Las Vegas or South Carolina Training Center up to one week per month as needed to ensure program compliance
