We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to be an internal recruitment function for all recruitment across the business including commercial and private client areas of law, alongside business services roles. You will provide the complete end to end recruitment life cycle and process, ensuring all efforts are made to maintain a short time to hire, and a healthy pipeline of talent for future roles. Being proactive and building relationships is key to success for this role.

Your role will include:-

• Working with our internal teams for all recruitment needs, forward planning for future roles and dealing quickly with roles as they arise
• Working with hiring managers specifically to create job descriptions, and where appropriate, job adverts, for all roles
• Advertising live vacancies on our website, job boards and via social media campaigns
• Building and maintaining relationships with future talent, creating and maintaining talent pools to ensure a quick fulfilment of vacancies
• Building and maintaining relationships with our recruitment agencies, working with them to ensure we are securing the top talent
• Reviewing and agreeing terms and conditions with new and existing recruitment agencies
• Attending local careers fairs to meet with graduates and other potential talent
• Consulting with hiring managers and their teams across the business to support their growth
• Reviewing all incoming CVs and ensuring they are sifted and distributed to the hiring manager with all relevant information, and providing feedback to the candidates / agencies accordingly
• Arranging interviews, and attending interviews as required
• Helping to scope interview assessments and activities in line with the firms’ values
• Keeping all recruitment documentation up to date and issued in a timely way
• Making offers to candidates or to their agents
• Suggesting and implementing improvements to our hiring process
• Helping us to represent our strong employer brand in a way that reflects our culture, our firm and our people
• Ensuring due-diligence and compliance in accordance with UK Employment Law, SRA Requirements and internal policies and procedures
• Providing reports to the business to keep stakeholders aware of the efforts made and successes achieved
• Constantly promote recruitment best practice to the business in a way that ensures relationships are maintained (e.g. delivering training).
• Working with the HR Director to identify strategic partnerships and opportunities to fulfil skills shortages within the industry

You will have:-

• Experience of operating within a legal recruitment specialist role
• Excellent organisation, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work to a fast pace with tight timelines and deadlines
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Strong IT skills with experience of using Microsoft packages
• Must be a self starter with the ability to manage own workload and be self sufficient
• Proven stakeholder management skills and able to communicate with all levels
• CertRP (Desirable)
• Proven contacts list within the sector (Agents and candidates alike) (Desirable)

• Experience of using ERS’ (Desirable)
