Naperville Music Academy Hiring for Voice Teachers Needed Job at Aurora, IL Full Time

We are looking for voice instructors ready to start the week of August 22.

• Lessons conducted on our premises, on the border of Naperville and Aurora.
• Teachers who can prove that they live more than 20 miles away from NMA, will receive a driving stipend.
• Teachers are only required to teach lessons and organize make ups. NMA offers complete support in marketing, accounting, administrative help, scheduling, organizing student activities, etc.
• Our hours are M-F 3-9 pm, Sat 10-3 pm. Most days lessons start around 4 pm.
• Teachers can request the schedule that works best for them
• Please note that there is no train station close to us

Job Requirements:

1. We are looking for teachers who majored or minored in voice and can also teach piano.

2. Persons hired for these positions must be punctual, professional and know their instrument well.

3. We are looking for teachers who can teach students of all ages and abilities.

4. Previous teaching experience is a plus but not necessary

4. Being able to teach another instrument is a plus

5. We offer mentoring to new teachers in order to help them be successful in their job.

Teacher Pay:

• We offer very competitive pay – better than any current offers on the market.
• This is a part time job, for independent contractors (1099)
• Hourly pay rate is $34-$39. The pay is completely dependent on the teachers educational background, previous teaching experience and recommendations.
• You are most welcome to apply even if you didn’t major in music or have much teaching experience – we will mentor you to become the best teacher you want to be.

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks are optional, but we also have clear shower curtains in each studio which separate students from the teachers. In addition, we built into our HVAC system the machines that kill air borne viruses (similar to airplane technology).
