ROLE DETAILS
Location: Sandy Bay, TAS (Hobart)
Salary: $74,000-82,000 per year + Super + leave entitlements
Days: Mondays-Fridays
Hours: 7:30am-5pm (some flexibility required)
Child: 9 month old
Start date: January 3rd 2023 (can start in December if desired).

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Permanent Australian Residency
• Valid Working With Vulnerable People Registration, First Aid, and CPR
• Drivers Licence and own car (preferable)
• Vaccinated against Covid-19
• 2+ years of experience with babies and toddlers
• 2 outstanding references we can call.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
These working parents are seeking a reliable and kind nanny to support their family and help them to provide loving, consistent care for their baby girl. They are keen to employ someone who will have fun with her, playing and exploring as she learns about the world. The role will be full-time from the beginning of January, but the family is open to a nanny who wants to work with them in December as well.

Experience with children of a similar age is essential for this role. Nanny experience would be wonderful, but we are open to applicants with childcare experience. Formal qualifications are not required, but the ideal nanny will understand child development and be able to facilitate play-based learning while ensuring safety.

Care of the baby is the top priority, but the parents would also like light household assistance. Please be willing to assist with laundry, some meal prep, and helping to maintain a tidy and safe environment in the home.

ABOUT THE FAMILY
Both parents work full-time, with Dad often travelling and at times working from home. They are looking to form a wonderful relationship with a nanny who can become the other key adult in their village. They value clear communication and their number one priority is that their daughter feels secure with one-on-one care in her early years.

The baby will be 9 months old in January and has a generally social and happy personality so far. She loves to be read to and engage in play! Her days are quite flexible, with gentle rhythm rather than a set routine, but the parents are open to working out with the nanny what the ideal routine will be in the new year.

The family also has a friendly Kelpie dog so you must be comfortable with her around.
