• The ability to work in Australia for at least a year without visa restrictions
• 2+ years of experience

ROLE DETAILS
Start date: January 24th, 2022 (slight flexibility)
Location: Hawthorn/Kew area, VIC
Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 6:30am-3:30pm
Children: 11mo and 4yo
Pay rate: $30-34/hr + Super (Casual Employment initially, but Full-Time salary with paid leave on offer after a month or so when everyone has settled in).

ROLE DESCRIPTION
This family is relocating to Melbourne from New Zealand in the new year! They have an almost-1 year old and a 4 year old, and would love to engage a nanny who can build a strong connection with the children as they settle into life in Melbourne. The Mum will continue to work on New Zealand time, so they need someone who is happy with an early start and an early finish during the week.

Both children are happy and active. The 4 year old girl is very social and loves people, so might miss her childcare environment. Her baby brother is pretty relaxed to go along with the flow, but isn’t much of a useful playmate for her yet! For this reason, they’d love a nanny who is willing and excited to play with the children. They’re very happy for the nanny to take the children out to various activities and outings, including playdates in the local area. Driving might not be essential, but the family hasn’t selected their new home yet so while it will likely be in the Hawthorn/Kew area, someone who drives would be ideal.

This role will focus on the children and their needs, with some light household support with things like laundry, meal prep, and helping to maintain a tidy home. Someone who is flexible to work with the parents around occasionally and support them as they settle into short-term accommodation then move into their new home… there may be times it’s ideal to get the children out of the house!
