ROLE DETAILS
Location: Kew, VIC
Start date: January 24th (a little flexibility)
Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 8am-6:30pm
Children: 18mo and 4yo
Salary: $80,000-90,000 per year (negotiable, depending on experience) + Super + paid leave.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
These loving parents are professionals who work full-time. They need an experienced and capable Nanager to care for their two sons full-time. Their train-loving 4 year old is chatty and entertaining. Their younger boy is a happy, easy-going toddler who loves to follow what his older brother does. The whole family enjoys music and good food, and loves to travel when possible. They’re quite academically-minded, with the 4yo already taking an interest in reading.

The right person for this role will have many years of experience with children – ideally as a nanny or raising their own children – and have a mature and proactive approach to handling the children and household during the day. The parents want the nanny to take the children out and about during the week, both to scheduled activities (such as kinder and music class) and to places such as playgrounds, the children’s farm, and other fun community activities. A car and funds for activities will be provided.

Reliability and dedication to the role are really important, as the nanny is an essential part of the parents’ team. However, there will almost never be flexibility required of the Nanager outside of their standard hours.

In addition to caring for the children, who are the top priority, the family needs support with household tasks to keep the home running smoothly. These will include laundry, grocery shopping, and helping to keep the home tidy. Preparing meals for the children will be required, and some occasional help with family meals would be lovely but not essential.
