This role has shared responsibility to cross skill with other team members to eliminate key person risk to ensure continuity of service as Physical Security delivers Critical A processes. Tasks include data collection and analysis, ing and policy development. This includes understanding, influencing and advising internal and external stakeholders on Physical Security requirements.

The role and day to day will include:

• Support the manager, Physical Security Operations to provide security advice and guidance to employees relating to security controls, operations and incidents;
• Provide support and guidance to the security operations centre operators for operational security matters and critical incidents, including rostered 24 hours on call requirement;
• Assist where required in event risk management and other protective security taskings;
• Conduct post incident reviews and identify controls to mitigate detected risks; 
• Support internal stakeholders such as Health Safety & Wellbeing and Retail in uplifting the NAB global security environment;
• Lead intelligence gatherings and interrogation of information sources to conduct threat assessments; 
• Review data relating to security incidents and develop response to trends; and  identify, Evaluate and monitor risks that could affect business activities and  provide timely insights and information to assist decision making
• Real time security incident management, participating in internal and external led forums.

Your skills and experience:

• Proven (3+ years) experience in security operations and/or risk management.
• Understanding of law enforcement processes and the ability to liaise with law enforcement;
• Proven experience in conducting post incident and a thorough understanding of risk assessment standards
• An understanding of the internal security environment and impacts of security incidents, both domestically and internationally, on NAB Group.
• Experience in proving guidance on personal and workplace safety;  
• Proven ability in applying security risk management principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication techniques.
• Demonstrated experience in contract vendor engagement and governance.
• Demonstrated experience in development and review of governance frameworks.
• Experience in conducting internal risk reviews, security related post incident reviews and root cause analysis.
• Proven ability to make sound and justified decisions relating to ongoing security incidents.
• Ability to proactively identify opportunities to uplift efficiencies based off trend analysis.
