N Consulting Ltd Hiring for Software Test Engineer Job at London, England Full Time

Test engineer working with next-generation ETD allocations platform and associated interfaces, using industry-standard messaging protocols (FIX, FIXML, Kafka, JMS)

– Working with various business and technical stakeholders, including vendor, order management systems, testing BA’s, testing manager, client-facing technology, strategic messaging bus, clearing platforms

– Test system integration and environment management

– Documentation of test cases, results, approach, defects, and provision of MI

– Design technical and functional test cases (covering, among other things, capacity testing, bespoke matching scenarios, complex allocation algorithms)

– Collaborate with existing SME’s to leverage and update legacy system’s test framework

– Create sustainable testing framework, with emphasis on repeatable and automated test cases

Skills/Experience:

– 5+ years of experience in a SCRUM delivery model within the financial sector

– Technical experience with Jira/Confluence

– Knowledge of real-time messaging including FIX and FIXML formats

– Experience writing automated tests, within a java framework

– Knowledge of ETD products/systems, client allocations and/or Kafka would be a bonus

– Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal

– Documentation of test cases and outcomes in Jira and Confluence

Salary: Up to £450.00 per day
