The Role
MyRepublic Australia and New Zealand is planning for significant growth. In addition, inorganic expansion and new product lines are being planned to accelerate this growth. As a key member of the ANZ Management team, the VP Finance will report to both Australia and New Zealand county MDs and also the Finance Transformation Lead and will assume a strategic role in the overall financial management of the local businesses.

The VP Finance ANZ will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the Company.

• Expected to be Finance Business Partner to help business manage performance and deliver to strategic plans
• Direct the daily finance operations of the ANZ finance function, including treasury, budgeting, auditing, tax, accounting, capital purchasing, risk management, and long range forecasting.
• Provide counsel to the MDs, ANZ relating to financial and tax considerations of investments and other business transactions.
• Work with the Group Corporate Development team to develop the long-range strategy to establish and maintain the financial self-sufficiency of the ANZ businesses.
• Travel will be required to deliver objectives. (Around 20%)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting. CPA or Professional Accounting Qualification Required
• 15 years experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles
• Experience in Tech/Telco sector Required and preferably with exposure to Corporate Finance
• Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
• Manage and shape legacy finance team in line with Group structure
