Job Summary

The incumbent will support advanced web-based applications in an enterprise environment using Windows/Mac/Linux environments. The ideal candidates will be key players in the support of next generation technologies such as cloud and must be up for the challenge to join a highly agile and lean support team. As it’s a regional role, working hours would be flexible.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Providing support to service requests and issues related to computer systems, software and hardware for internal staff
• Administrating accounts across the organization including Windows Active Directory, Google Workspace, Jira,Confluence and Zendesk
• Maintaining and documenting system related processes and identified issues in a knowledge base
• Raising timely alarms when issues are identified and generating reports for possible impact
• Providing training for internal personnel regarding issues, resolutions, and processes within the system
• Participating in post- and pre-deployment testing in production and pre-production environments
• Managing and monitoring internal network systems alongside ensuring backups are being done consistently
• Collaborating with other team members to help to develop automation strategies and finding new ways to deliver excellent IT services
• Working closely with Product, Billing, Provisioning and Engineering teams to identify potential gaps and working with application developers and teams to maintain mission-critical functions of the platform

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL will be appreciated
• Experience in a support role for internal users
• Self starter and strong proactive initiative as well as ability to multitask in a fast pace work environment
• Ability to condense learning into well-written documentation
• Experience with security management procedures
• Writing of installation scripts and mass deployment/rollout of application software
• Strong organizational skills
• Preferred experience in the telecommunications industry esp with B/OSS systems
• ITIL/ISO 27001 foundation is advantageous
• Familiarity with Google Workplace, Zendesk, Cisco Meraki Network appliances, Confluence and Jira systems will be appreciated
