The opportunity
The purpose of this role is to support the Accounts Payable function, in a fast paced & high-volume environment. You will be part of a team of three, reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, and working as part of the larger Finance team.
The Role:
- Monitor the accounts payable inbox and action incoming emails
- Record and process supplier invoices into MYOB’s invoicing system (SAP Concur)
- Review employee cash and credit card expenses in accordance with internal policies
- Prepare and coordinate approval for all payments (weekly)
- Collaborate closely with employees to ensure all suppliers are paid within 30days
- Maintain supplier details in MYOB’s finance system (Microsoft Dynamics Navision)
- Reconcile statements
What will you bring:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail, well organised, and a great teammate
- Diploma or degree in an accounting related field preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Australian bookkeeping principles and practices, particularly related to invoicing and GST
- Knowledge of Australian banking and EFT payment principles
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience using SAP Concur and/or Microsoft Navision will be considered favourably
