At myHomecare, you’ll support older Australians to maintain their independence so they can enjoy living at home for longer.

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 enthusiastic and organised Finance Administrators looking to make a real difference through their work at myHomecare in Erina.

You will be the first point of contact for all client related matters and act as the communication link between the organisation, clients and staff regarding finance related queries.

The role is a very customer service focussed and requires a high level of communication skills

Your duties may include:

• Collate and analyse data relating to claims reporting for submission to Medicare
• Ensuring monthly Home Care Package statements are processed on time and accurate
• Liaise with Operations Team on matters relating to clients package
• Process payments for unspent HCP funds
• Manage Aged Care Portal for setting-up clients, entering leave dates and processing discharges
• Review client budgets
• Process client discharges
• Process unspent HCP funds payments
• Process the transfer in portion and discharges in the Accounting system
• General admin support including data entry, diary management and correspondence
• Answer incoming calls and relaying messages to the wider team – shared reception duty
• Assist with a variety of finance functions as directed

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 3 years’ experience operating the Microsoft Office Suite
• Certificate 4 in Accounting or Book-keeping or similar qualification
• Ideally have experience in Government claiming and reporting, but not required
