We provide tax services for individuals, corporations, S corporations, partnerships, trusts, and non-profit entities. We also provide tax planning to suggest strategies to implement and minimize income taxes in consulting services for business entity selection, succession planning, estate planning, fraud prevention and detection, and cash flow management.

Bookkeeper

MyCPA Accounting and Advisory Services is seeking a full-time and experienced bookkeeping professional to work with clients in our tax and accounting practice.

Compensation is competitive depending on experience and bonuses are used to reward a job well done. We are looking for a motivated team member with practical accounting and bookkeeping skills to work with internal and external clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct reconciliation of all accounts as needed.
• Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate complete, and up-to-date manner.
• Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing coding, and processing payments.
• Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner and submit payroll taxes.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.

• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Deadline oriented with excellent time management skills.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and tax principles.
• A strong desire to provide high quality client service.
• Reliable, responsible, team player with strong problem-solving skills who approaches situations thoughtfully and thoroughly.
• Proficiency in communication with a respectful demeanor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP
• Experience and knowledge of the following programs:
• Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online
• 1099 & W2s
• Microsoft Office Suite
• UltraTax CS
• Workpapers CS
• Practice CS
• Fixed assets CS
• NetClient CS

Pay: $17.00 – $33.00 per hour
