My Homecare Kingston Hiring for HR Assistant at New Malden Full Time

My Homecare Kingston is a leading domiciliary care company in Kingston Borough. We provide excellent in-home care for a large range of service users. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic HR assistant to work part-time in the small office located in New-Malden high street. Working hours would be from 4-5 hours a day, 3 days a week. Shift starting times and days of the week are flexible.

The responsibilities for this role are:

• Assisting with recruitment and related staffing processes including vetting job applicants and interviewing candidates.
• Supporting the response to internal and external inquiries regarding service use.
• Generating and updating individualised care plans for service users.
• Performing staff reviews, supervisions, and spot checks.
• Writing and responding to emails regarding all aspects of the functions of the company.
• Writing reports on general HR activities.
• Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications.
• Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency.

We therefore would like our ideal candidate to have the following qualifications and experience:

• Excellent both in written and spoken English.
• Any humanities-writing related degree is preferred e.g. English Literature, History.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good attention to detail.
• Teamwork orientated attitude.

Previous health and social care sector experience is preferred but not essential.

Previous HR experience is also preferred but not essential as all training will be provided on the job.
