My Gateway has a great career opportunity for Childcare Trainees.

As part of this 12 month traineeship, you will complete a Certificate III in Community Service – Early Childhood Education and Care.

Our client is based in Pendle Hill and are a family owned long day care, before and after school care, and vacation care service. Work with a great team in a safe and caring educational environment. This centre is run by a fully qualified team of Educators with a proven curriculum that helps children flourish, from their babies room through to getting children ready for school.

Some of the duties include:

• Looking after children 6 weeks to 12 yrs old
• Change nappies
• Toilet duties
• set up activities,
• sports arts and craft
• story time
• Prepare food
• Supervise children
• Upload photos and activities onto Kindermade app.

Essential criteria:
You must be over 18.
You must have a current Working with Children Check or the willingness to obtain.
You must have an interest in children’s learning and development
