mx Hiring for Talent Acquisition Manager Job at Sydney Full Time

As our first ever Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be leading and delivering our recruitment activities and ensuring we attract and onboard the best talent in the market. Leading a small team, you will work with the Head of People and hiring managers to understand our current and future talent needs and identify strategies to facilitate our growth ambitions.

This will be a hands-on role in helping shape and build the Talent Acquisition function, as well as support our business to uplift recruitment capability and create memorable experiences for candidates, agencies and our people.

In a past life you have supported businesses and their teams’ scale, through sharing the vision, culture and values with candidates, delivering talent strategies that navigate the competitive market and establishing new ways to market to active and passive candidates.

• Work closely with the Leadership team and Head of People to unpack our growth plans and develop talent strategies that enable us to achieve (and exceed) this
• Lead and develop an incredible Talent Acquisition Team
• Developing sourcing strategies, talent mapping and headhunting, reviewing resumes, crafting the selection process, interviewing and assessing candidates, and managing the offer process.
• Uplift our recruitment processes to positive experiences for our candidates, hiring managers, interviewers and partners
• Build and deliver a great candidate experience from the first interaction to offer.
• Represent and advocate the mx51 brand and culture in the market via our careers website, job boards, Linkedin, meetups, conferences and other social media platforms.
• Stay on top of changes in the talent market; understanding trends and pivoting recruitment activities to suit. This may include identifying new sourcing channels to develop robust talent pipelines.
• Deliver Talent initiatives such as Early Careers (Internships and Graduate programs), EVP and global recruitment
• Build, manage and strengthen relationships with recruitment agencies.

What you will bring:

• You’ll have 8+ years of recruitment experience in technology, start up or hyper growth organisations
• You’ll have 2+ years of leadership experience, ideally managing remote and distributed teams
• You have a genuine interest in tech and people, and keep up to date with new ideas, concepts and technologies.
• You have experience in elevating an employer brand and may have worked on an EVP or talent project.
• You are about ‘people’ and invest in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• You’re autonomous, can navigate changing environments and are not afraid to get your hands dirty.
• You are curious, love to learn and have a personal investment in your development.
• You may have previous experience in high-growth startups, technology or payments.
