Muskoka Excavation & Septic/Muskoka Rock Blasting is Looking for Drilling and Blasting Lead Full Time

Our company is a dynamic drilling and blasting company specializing in all applications of drilling and blasting in Ontario. We are looking for an experienced and competent Drilling & Blasting operator for our projects in the Muskoka and surrounding areas.

Skills & Experience:

Design blast patterns using a variety of techniques for wall control and production blasting

Must have the ability to work independently and diagnose problems

Attention to Detail with the ability to follow process accurately

Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Provide weekly reports on Drilling and Blasting activities for customer billing

Ability to read, write, and speak English and to communicate in writing and verbally

Requires good judgment to determine unsafe/safe conditions; ability to keep accurate written records for Health and Safety team

Ability to manage stress and multiple priorities, meet deadlines, set goals and resolve complex problems and make clear and decisive decisions.

Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player

Working Conditions / Job Requirements

Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification or ability to complete.

ERD Clearance.

Require valid drivers’ license. Ability to work outside in Extreme weather conditions such as rain, heat/cold, and exposure to loud noises

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
