Due to demand and expansion, MusicSpark are seeking experienced singers and performers who would be interested in starting their own independent tuition business via our academy.

You may already for experience coaching or be new to teaching. MusicSpark can provide the skills and support system to start your own business.

We have students awaiting tuition both face-to-face and online.

Ideally we are looking for someone with experience in musical theatre. Please ensure you mention this in your application. As well as teaching beginners you will be expected to tutor more advanced performers.

MusicSpark Academy takes top level performers and entry level tutors with remarkable skills and assists them to build their own independent business. Utilising our reputation and brand, we support our tutors in establishing and growing their own successful business. Working on a self-employed basis, MusicSpark provides all the business tools, advice and software needed to run a successful tuition business.

As well as face-to-face lessons you will be required to undertake online tuition with international students where required. We provide the training and support to successfully deliver these lessons.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 8 qualification with ABRSM, Trinity or RSL or equivalent

• Enhanced Clean DBS check

• A suitable teaching space either at home or in their local area from which to teach, both online and face to face, or be able to travel to student’s homes.

MusicSpark will provide comprehensive teacher training, including equipping candidates with all the tools they will need to teach both online and face to face effectively, operating within child safeguarding guidelines.

The candidate will be required to deliver the ABRSM, Trinity and RSL graded learning paths for students ranging from 5 years of age to senior adults, as well as to devise individual student learning programs outside of the graded system.

Note: Contracts are on a self-employed basis and are reviewed every 6 months. During your training, you will be advised on the regulations and requirements of a self-employed contractor. Teaching experience is not necessary as MusicSpark provides all the training required.
