Quality Advisor – Huntingdon
This is an exciting and challenging role to lead Quality teams and assist Quality Management in the implementation of Group Quality Management Systems and provide Quality advice and support to employees related to specific projects.
What you willbe doing:
* Be a champion for the “Quality – Right First Time” initiative
* Establish and promote best practice in quality matters in conjunction with the Quality function
* Collaborate with Engineering to support and educate the engineering community on site to achieve better quality
* Ensure that all personnel are aware of their statutory duties and responsibilities, and to provide advice as and when required
* Support management teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the Quality Plans
* Carry out regular inspections of sites and work places to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures and other stated requirements
* Promote the reporting of nonconformances
* Collate Business / Contract Quality statistics in a timely manner and submit to the Quality Management and Quality function for reporting purposes
* Review Quality information to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and implement Quality campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with the Quality Management
* Assist in the preparation and review of project Quality documents including those of 3rd parties
What we are looking for:
* Experience in a Quality role
* National Grid Gas specifications knowledge would be advantageous
* Relevant Quality membership
* A mechanical, welding or civils background with experience in Oil & Gas
* Lead Auditor certified to ISO 9001:2015 with an understanding of the standard
* Knowledge of Inspection & Test Plans & Quality Plans, review and preparation
