What you will be doing
* To deliver the planning of access & integration to client infrastructure, co-ordinating with the delivery teams to allow works to take place safely in accordance to client standards
* Main point of contact within Access & Integration planning team for liaisons with Murphy contract/project management team and client, providing support to ensure adherence to Murphy procedures and client standards, rules and regulations
* Review contract requirements with contract management team, understanding delivery timescales, scheme complexities, integration constraints etc, ensuring any bespoke requests can be met with adherence to Murphy procedures
* Liaise with client and relevant third parties to negotiate access to client infrastructure, managing any complex access arrangements identified in the development of the plan. Ensure the most efficient access opportunities are sought and secured, working closely with contract/project management team in securing engineering access & resources to programme
* Attend Monthly long term access reviews with the client and cascade potential access opportunities/concerns internally with the Planner and contract/project management team, escalating to Access & Integration Planning Manager when necessary
For any complex access & integration identified, organise and co-ordinate whiteboard meetings with the Planner and contract/project management team, including any key resources identified with the resource operations team. Ensure any relevant third party attendance and finalise the plan, managing any operational reporting requirements, where applicable
Who we are looking for
* Experience in possessions
* Fully conversant in CDM regulations, as they apply to temporary works for civil engineering / rail
* Knowledge of the Health and Safety Regulations and Approved Codes of Practice in respect of temporary works
* Use of Planning/Programming software and knowledge and use of Primavera would be advantageous
