About your next role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a full time Accounts Administrator to join our supportive Finance team! This position gives you the opportunity to be an Accounts all rounder and not only support all Accounts Receivable duties, but also assist with the Accounts Payable function as required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Generating invoices and account statements;
• Performing account reconciliations;
• Maintaining accounts receivable files and records;
• Liaise with customers on outstanding debts;
• Allocating and receipting of payments;
• Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries;
• Assisting in general financial management and analysis; and
• Ad hoc accounts receivable tasks as required.

About you

You will need strong time management skills with a high attention to detail, and the ability to take an analytical approach to problem solving. You will ideally have experience within a retail industry or similar.

Ideally you will bring:

• Solid understanding accounts receivable principles;
• A willingness to learn and develop;
• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft applications and other accounting software;
• Fantastic communications & interpersonal skills;
• The ability to build relationships with other departments & suppliers; and
• Self-drive to achieve shared team goals, but also able to work autonomously.
