Munk Pack Hiring for Sales Director at United States Full Time

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Hungry to lead and succeed
• 8 years+ in Grocery and Natural with an emphasis on healthy snack categories (snack or protein bars preferred). Broad experience in other channels is a plus
• Experience with emerging brands, having worked brand-side at a startup
• Ability to use syndicated data to build a fact-based selling presentation
• Masterful communication skills, artfully persistent, reasonable negotiator
• Excellent prioritization and self-management skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Director of Sales s to the President/co-founder and is responsible for:

• Sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning
• Call on regional and national accounts, establish direct buyer relationships, and position the brand as a strategic partner 
• Actively manage multiple channels of trade, including conventional and national grocery channels, as well as other adjacent channels
• Manage, incentivize and collaborate with brokers and other sales representatives in the territory
• Take ownership over velocity growth strategies, collaborate with Marketing
• Promotional planning and management of trade spend
• Grow points of distribution, fill voids, and partner with marketing to increase velocities in existing accounts and plan successful launches
• Collaborate with Finance on pricing and promotional strategy and in updating decks with pertinent data
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on inventory planning, forecasting, and new launches
• Intelligently leverage and communicate sales & market data
