Reporting to the Head of Talent (UK & ROI), as MRSG TA Partner you will build relationships with the business, offering a consultative service to influence decisions and offer an excellent candidate service to build a diverse workforce. You will be recruiting positions across UK& Ireland.

This role sits within the UK&I TA regional team, however is embedded within the MRSG organisation, partnering closely with the MRSG HR team and key stakeholders, you will also have a dotted reporting line to the Group HR Director – MRSG.

Your job

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the TA relationship for MRSG, working closely with Group HR Director for MRSG
• Setting TA strategy for MRSG, ensuring that this reflects MRSG & HR strategy and linking in with regional and global TA strategies and approach
• Partnering with the business to advise on the best approach for recruitment, utilising both direct and indirect sourcing methods, leading interviews and influencing decisions to ensure an inclusive hiring process
• Sourcing, screening and assessing competence of candidates, working with line managers and HR to offer an efficient service
• Leading the end to end recruitment process including sourcing candidates (entry to Executive level)
• Pipeline building for key roles across the business, seeking out diverse channels of recruitment
• Helping to the position the company as an Employer of Choice through a seamless candidate experience
• Seeking feedback on a regular basis from partners and suggesting and implementing key process improvements
• Undertaking data analysis i.e. attrition, trends, business and people strategy to provide insights and feedback to MRSG senior managers.

MRSG TA team management

• Responsibility for the management of 1 regional TA specialist facing off to MRSG and indirect line management for another regional TA specialist shared with another UKI business – HSB

Key MRSG Projects:

• Horizon (TA) – ensuring that as part of the Global HRIT project Success Factors rollout is delivered successfully from a recruitment and onboarding perspective within MRSG
• Manager upskilling – upskilling MRSG hiring managers on key TA topics including Recruit the Best training and DE&I hiring good practice. Implementing a regular programme of events to build knowledge amongst hiring managers
• EVP – working with the Group HR Director and key stakeholders, look at opportunities to promote MRSG’s employee value proposition to the external market
• Thought leadership – identifying and researching key TA trends and industry good practice, sharing with key stakeholders across the region

Communications

• Identifying and promoting ways to share TA message internally across MRSG (SharePoint sites, stand ups, Yammer, MS Teams). Partnering with key partners and HR colleagues

Regional Collaboration

• Partnering with TA & Talent Management & Development colleagues within the regional team on key regional initiatives (particularly the MRSG TM&D Partner)
• Regional/global project team attendance i.e. weekly regional TA team meetings
• Travel to MRSG sites i.e. Manchester, Birmingham

Your profile

Essential

• Excellent organisation and project management skills
• Excellent client management and relationship building skills
• Effective communicator and influencer at all levels
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Excellent report writing skills
• MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint
• Good mathematical/analytical ability

Desirable

• Passion for working in TA and wider HR
• Experience of team management
• Previous inhouse recruitment experience either directly or from an RPO within consulting, finance, tech or pharmaceuticals environment
• Experience of working in a highly matrixed environment
• Learning attitude (enthusiastic with a passion for learning)
• Experience of delivering/facilitating virtually (via MS Teams, MIRO etc)

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

No formal qualifications are required. The successful candidate will have extensive inhouse/agency Resourcing experience, as well as experience of building a TA function and delivering against the TA strategy.
