The HR team in Australia supports 230 employees and sits within the broader Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APAC MEA) region. The APAC MEA HR Strategy is to Attract, Grow and Inspire employees to thrive in their career whilst driving the business forward. The APAC MEA HR team comprises of country teams and HR Regional leads in Recruitment, DEI, Talent and Reward.

Your job

• Assisting the HR Manager by partnering with people leaders to provide day to day HR advice and support on employee related matters
• Assisting with coordinating our development initiatives including applications for our Accelerated Development Programs and supporting the biannual talent calibrations
• Working with the Talent Manager to provide best in class candidate experience to secure top talent in to key roles
• Supporting the event planning for key Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Wellbeing initiatives throughout the year
• Assisting with the training for the new global HRIS roll out to the Australian business when it launches later in 2022
• Supporting the mobility of employees by coordinating the visa process
• Providing back up support to the HR Coordinator by drafting contracts and letters
• Contribute to the delivery of HR projects that link to our annual commitments

Your profile

• Tertiary studies in Human Resources or related discipline
• Prior exposure to Human Resources (through an internship or previous Graduate experience)
• Confident in using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Customer-centric nature with the ability to build relationships at all levels
• Solutions focused with a demonstrated ability to build ideas starting with a blank sheet as well as collaboratively build on the ideas of others
• Collaborative team player who is willing to flex across projects to help the HR team deliver on key initiatives
