The Role:
Looking for a Junior Systems Administrator or a Network Administrator to assist with support duties and tasks listed below.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Administration of our Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMWare environments.

Administration of network switches, routers, and firewalls

Assist with development of infrastructure design and redundancy planning.

Microsoft 365 administration

Installing and upgrading network infrastructures (servers, networking devices, and firewalls)

Performing data backups and recovery operations

Provide hardware and software support to local and remote users

Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring end-point protection

Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues that arise with various applications and systems while working to resolve them

Researching and providing a recommendation for new hardware and software products

Purchasing and setting up new computers, computer peripherals, printers, and network equipment

Making and maintaining technical documentation

Managing desktop support technicians

Ensure that company’s assets are maintained responsibly

Experience with Smartsheets

Experience with VMware ESXi

Experience with Veeam Backup

Ensure software licensing laws are followed

Provide detailed training for new users

Maintain printers and toner inventory

Support mobile devices such as iPhone and Androids

Assist with ERP software

Support phone system

Provide afterhours support

Maintain door access system (FOB)

Qualifications

Minimum of five (3) years experience including but not limited to network switches, wireless infrastructure, routers, firewalls, intrusion prevention, other network security solutions

Ability to work with both internal business partners and external vendors to drive resolution for system defects and enhancements

Ability to analyze the design of technical systems and business models

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment with accurate resource and time estimates

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

Communicate Effectively

Travel Expectations:
Travel to sites outside of headquarters may be required
