Building our Talent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our National HR team based in Melbourne on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role is responsible for managing end to end recruitment processes to help identify and secure the best talent for Multiplex.

Working closely with the National HR, OD and Talent teams and regional/global business unit leaders, you will be responsible for implementing sourcing strategies for all Construction, IT and Corporate roles, which includes:

• The full life-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing to candidate acceptance
• Providing accurate market information, reporting and trends to hiring managers
• Collaborating with HR and business unit leaders to understand project workforce plans
• Proactively identify innovative ways to attract and headhunt a diverse pipeline of candidates
• Working to ensure our EVP is attracting top candidates

The ability to quickly develop relationships and influence stakeholders is key to the success of this role and you will have:

• Proven experience in a recruitment role, ideally with both in-house and agency/consultancy
• Experience recruiting in the Information Technology (IT) and/or Construction and Engineering environment preferred
• Knowledge of e-recruitment application platforms (here we use Springboard)
• Conceptual and practical understanding of current recruitment and selection methodologies involved in end to end recruitment
• Detailed understanding of behavioural interviewing, advertising, selection tools and alternate sourcing strategies
• Ability to coach and advise managers on interview techniques, sourcing strategies and selection decisions
