We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will identify, recruit, screen and present candidates to various hiring managers to help Mulligan Funding hire the best talent possible. This person will build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to reduce our time-to-hire for our Credit, Marketing, Sales and Analytics departments. To be a successful TA Specialist, you should have a good working knowledge of technology, technical roles, and technical skills, as well as proficient knowledge of the recruitment process.

This position is a hybrid role (3 days onsite/ 2 days remote) working out of our office in San Diego.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; reviews job descriptions for vacancies.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of technical job descriptions.
• Help perform compensation benchmarking to ensure that new roles are competitively priced.
• Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
• Draft recruitment advertisements; posts and/or places ads for open positions.
• Source candidates to add to the pipeline using LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent databases.
• Identify appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.
• Connect qualified candidates with hiring managers.
• Send relevant skills assessments as deemed necessary by certain hiring managers.
• Maintain contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
• Investigate and verify potential employees’ credentials as necessary.
• Provide advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates.
• Build and maintain relationships in the technical/industry community and marketplace.
• Help forecast recruitment budgets and report on ad spend.
• Meet candidates and give tours of our San Diego office as necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ideally 2+ Years of proven work experience as a recruiter/talent acquisition specialist.
• Experience with both agency and in-house recruitment preferred but not required.
• Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Google Meets and structured).
• Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases such as Lever.
• Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search).
• Experience with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Indeed Resume Search, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of human resources related best practices.
• BS in Human Resources Management, IT or relevant degree.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
