The Commercial Account Director is responsible for developing national accounts, achieving sales and profitable growth targets, supporting product launches, and implementing sales & promotional programs that deliver advantages in market. This person will prospect, develop, and manage commercial and government customers throughout a sales territory.

We are looking for an experienced, sales professional with proven success selling to Commercial Automotive Fleet accounts and collaborating with Fleet Management companies and body modifiers. This position will manage all aspects of the Commercial and Government account interface – Sales outreach, Sales prospecting, Sales contracts, Upfitter/Body interface, local Fleet Management Company interface and strong connection with the Mullen/Bollinger Dealer Network. The qualified candidate will work independently to prospect and develop commercial and government accounts in order to achieve sales, revenue, and profit targets.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have strong sales experience, excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills, prior experience in all aspects of Fleet and Commercial automotive sales, depth of experience in the Commercial Fleet business, a drive to win in the market, and the ability to move at a start-up company pace.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales, revenue, and profit targets

• Deliver sales and revenue results to support planned launch volumes

• Represent and be the face of the Mullen and Bollinger brands to the Fleet customers, Fleet Management companies, upfitters, and Dealers

• Identify and prospect industries, target markets and customers that align with our portfolio

• Be a subject matter expert on the entire product portfolio, strengths, key selling points and cost of ownership advantages

• Support critical trade shows and customer events in support of the brand and sales initiatives

• Meet face-to-face at customer locations, with continuous product demonstrations & ride/drive events

• Work with Mullen/Bollinger dealers

• Travel required: 25-40%

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements/Qualifications (included but not limited to):

• Bachelor’s degree in business

• 8+ years Automotive Experience

• 5+ years Automotive Fleet Sales, B2B and Fleet Management

• Deep understanding of Commercial Fleet industries and customer sales cycles

• Work well independently and ability to make thoughtful & sound recommendations/decisions

• Excellent time management, organizational & presentation skills

• Strong written, verbal, and customer communication skills

• Ability to negotiate with/influence Commercial Fleet customers and procurement teams

• Experience and understanding of The Commercial Truck Market

• Proven experience in delivering commercial sales, revenue, and profitability targets
