POSITION: Career Counselor
DEPARTMENT: Career Services
REPORTS TO: Counseling Manager
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
Job Summary: Responsible for delivering counseling services to assigned residential and non residential students in personal and social development, career employment, and behavior. Provides individual counseling, group counseling and crisis intervention to all students.
Duties:
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience: Minimum of two years experience in counseling or related field.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Counseling from a four year university, including at least 15 counseling hours. Master’s degree in Counseling or closely related field preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Kentucky State Driver’s License
