Job Description
As the HR Systems & Process Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development of the Company’s HRIS system as well as our other people systems. This senior role will be responsible for liaising with users, leaders, and key stakeholders to ensure quality, consistency and efficiency in our HR system and related processes.
With a focus on developing the functionality of the People System, you will look to maximise automation from the system, coordinate any integration activities to other systems and coordinate data processes in support of the departments Power Bi reporting. All this is to be managed through considered and documented processes.
Reporting into the Executive Director, Reward & HR Operations, you will support in the wider management of team budget reporting and risk management processes
The HR Systems and Process Senior Manager is a unique opportunity to provide expert process and subject matter expertise in a fast growing investor services organisation.
Key Resposibilities of the Role are:
Deliverables
Gain a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of existing HR Systems and related processes across the whole Human Resources Team.
Own the HR Systems infrastructure landscape, assessing requirements to integrate systems and data with other HR and non-HR systems
Be the HR Data Governance systems leads to ensure access to platforms is determined by role type and need. Coordinate internal access reviews with Risk and Audit teams.
Improve the efficiency of data collection and act as a subject matter expert for the applicable systems / processes
Review HR Operational processes and assess opportunities to standardise or automate/systemize a solution through technology.
Support the further development of the Company’s new ATS (Smart Recruit) systems.
Develop a thorough change management process for all HR System developments.
Be the HR system lead in supporting any HR project implementation to ensure technical requirements and integrations are understood & applied.
Budgeting and Reporting
Management of annual system renewal processes and HR system development budgets
Review the efficiency of HR System processes from a cost and resource perspective and recommend improvements accordingly.
Support the head of department with wider team coordination including budget reporting and tracking, project management and incident management
Collaboration
Work with the HR team to assess and develop HR system solutions based on department and business need.
Coordinate process improvement reviews with HR Operations teams ensuring processes are consistent globally and documentation is in place
Work with technology teams in investigating further opportunities for HR systemization and automation
Qualifications
Educational/Work Experience Requirements
Third level qualification in IT/Computer Applications/Technology or Human Resources (min 2.1 honors degree)
4-7 years of progressive HR experience with a minimum 5 years of HR Systems development
Technical and Functional Skill Requirements
In depth practical system architecture knowledge of HR Systems
Proven track record of delivering HR system change projects including integrations
People management skills – introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other, encouraging mentoring and the transfer of knowledge by designing and delivering learning interventions
Excellent organizational skills, documentation skills and attention to detail.
Analytical thinking and ability to understand and interpret information.
Process Improvement and Development expertise
Experience of multiple system integrations implementation
Additional Preferred Skills/Knowledge
Experience of Sage People & SmartRecruiters
Computational Skills including excel, PBI.
In depth HR Process Knowledge and change management qualification
Understanding of AI/Machine Learning concepts
