Job Description

As a key member of the HR team, you will act as a key point of contact for employees and managers providing HR support on all aspects of operational HR, across Europe & APAC and other global locations. You will deal with all aspects of the employee lifecycle and also support global HR projects.

• Manage employee relations cases across Europe & APAC locations
• Provide advice and guidance regarding HR policies and procedures
• Involvement in HR projects and initiatives, as required (may include global team projects across People & Culture, Compensation & Benefits, Technology & Systems, or other).
• Benefits administration and scheme renewals across Europe and APAC locations
• Administration through the entire employee life cycle from On boarding to Off boarding
• Payroll Administration (starters/leavers and amendments)
• Family friendly leave advice and administration (maternity/paternity, parental, etc.).
• Manage the ‘Ask HR’ inbox, responding to queries and providing advice to managers and colleagues
• Data reporting including monthly Headcount and Organization Charts
• Manage Fitness and Probity due diligence for the Irish entities in collaboration with compliance and other relevant stakeholders.
• Manage immigration processes for Europe locations and demonstrate a good awareness of visa/sponsorship and employment permit requirements across the UK and Ireland in particular.
• Manage administration and processing involved in internal mobility procedures (transfers, secondments, relocations etc.)
• Ensure the HR system is updated with any changes, e.g. salary changes, job title changes, maternity leave, secondments, etc.
• Train & coach junior colleagues
• Any other ad-hoc duties, as required.

Qualifications

• A good level of education to GCSE/A Level or equivalent
• A Batchelor’s degree (not essential)
• A qualification in Human Resource Management (CIPD)
• Knowledge of UK & European employment legislation
• Training design & delivery
• Knowledge of Disciplinary, Grievance, Absence & Capability processes
• Good listening and problem-solving skills
• Proactive & Responsive
• A collaborative approach
• Clear and concise written and spoken communications skills; including being able to respond to appropriately to different audiences
• Attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately
• Ability to plan and prioritize
• Ability to handle sensitive data in a confidential manner at all times

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) & Power BI

Additional Information

• Suitable candidates for this role will be HR Advisors/Generalists with 2+ years experience
• Experience of advising stakeholders at all levels on HR policies and procedures

Experience of dealing with all levels of employees in a persuasive and credible manner
