Responsibilities:

• Preparation of daily 15c3-1 daily net capital computation for MUFG US Broker Dealer.
• Reconciliation of subledger data to GL and calculate regulatory capital charges to support monthly and quarterly reports.
• Strong accounting knowledge in the finance industry to ensure adequacy of underlying accounting records.
• Coordination with multiple groups across the organization to confirm financial data and static data for regulatory reports.
• Compile weekly/monthly capital reports for senior management and other departments.
• Assist with monthly FOCUS and quarterly FINRA Supplemental reports.
• Testing for new automation of reports to improve efficiency on regulatory reports.
• Maintenance/update procedure documentation related to new regulatory requirements to ensure firm’s compliance.
• Experience in Federal Reserve reports, Department of the Treasury reports (TIC), and Department of Commerce reports.
• Act as backup for MUSCAN daily RAC and FRB quarterly regulatory reports.

Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of Regulatory or Accounting experience in the financial industry
• Knowledge of 15c3-1 & 15c3-3
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Microsoft Excel proficient (Pivot Tables, V-Look ups, Macros)
• Highly proactive, resourceful and collaborative
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
