Mtr Partners Hiring for Talent and Development Business Partner Job at Birmingham, England Full Time

The purpose of this Talent and Development Business Partner position is to strategically support the People Plan agenda across the whole of Inchcape UK to ensure talent and development activity is available in a timely manner, by proactively working with the HRBPs and senior managers to plan and prioritise what needs to be designed and delivered to drive greater business performance and a change in behaviour which supports the culture of Inchcape.

This is a remote working role, however occasional travel will be required.

Main Responsibilities

• To support any activity that aligns with the Accelerate strategy from a development perspective ensuring proactive design and delivery of all materials to achieve business success. Material that drives behavioural change as well as increased business performance
• To support the HRBPs and senior managers through the quarterly Talent Review, working collaboratively with Business leaders and HRBPs to translate the key outcomes/themes/risks/opportunities into detailed yet practical development solutions and proactively design and deliver solutions that drive greater business performance and increase staff retention
• Agreeing and supporting succession planning across the business, working with HRBPs to support career development and role development activity across all band 4s and high potential band 5s, delivering where necessary the relevant programs and supporting with the career toolkit
• To deliver an effective and engaging on-boarding/induction experience for all new employees, (focussing on band 4s and above) reflecting the Inchcape employee experience, brand and One Inchcape and then support line managers in ensuring a comprehensive induction is delivered across all new starters
• To design and deliver management and leadership training across Inchcape UK that satisfies relevant training needs for both high performing managers and managers needing upskilling and development support needs obtained through HRBPs and HRAs
• Involvement in adhoc projects required across the global business in the Talent and Development arena contributing ideas and promoting best practice solutions when required. Working closely with colleagues from across the global talent and development team and updating local market, when necessary, on progress and actions
• To work closely with HRBPs and key managers in the business to ensure full training needs analysis is carried out before designing and delivering training ensuring any development opportunities (both internal, external ad OEM training) are supported by pre and post course briefings, action plans are in place and realised and a return on investment can be measured
