Overview :
Serve as a primary administrative support in the recruitment process for Talent Acquisition Recruiters and Team Managers.
Provide an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the interviewing process. Perform a wide variety of specialized duties in support of Talent Acquisition activities.
Primary Responsibilities :
Greet and assist both internal and external candidates via phone or in-person, with a strong focus on customer service.
Ensure the candidate and hiring manager experience is priority from the initial reach out and throughout the entire interviewing experience.
Organize and perform accurate and timely interview scheduling activities for candidates, including travel arrangements.
Provides support for Recruiters with sourcing, reviewing resumes and screening applicants during high requisition workload for the team.
Consistently identifies process efficiencies and opportunities for improving the applicant or hiring manager experience.
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.
Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Scope of Responsibilities :
This individual works closely with the Talent Acquisition staff, as a partner to fulfill employment needs across the bank footprint.
Interact / communicate with both internal and external candidates as well as various levels of management. This position is often the first contact / impression a potential candidate has of the Bank.
Education and Experience Required :
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum one year of successful administrator experience
Education and Experience Preferred :
Works with limited supervision.
Excellent knowledge of company policies and procedures regarding talent acquisition and the activities that support those efforts.
Ability to work as a member of team in a dynamic environment.
Ability to use independent judgment, discretion and maintain confidentiality of Bank matters.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
Demonstrated proficiency of quickly responding to questions in an accurate and timely fashion. The ability to multi-task.
Experience with scheduling (utilizing MS Outlook and / or other calendaring system)
Previous experience with applicant tracking systems (i.e. Taleo, Workday, ADP, etc.)

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $18.
00 – $26.20 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
