MSSC Canada Inc. Hiring for Customer Service and Warehouse Manager at Chatham-Kent, ON Full Time

Overview:

This position has primary responsibility for efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of product by meeting productivity targets, receiving and dispatching product appropriately, and managing system processes as well as customer management.

Principle Accountabilities:

· Manage, co-ordinate and assist in all activities for materials, shipping, and customer related activities in all warehouse locations.

· Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of all local 35 and local 127 staff in the shipping department, including shipping supervisors.

· Act as the first line management customer and emergency contact for all customers, internal and external, regarding shipments and packaging needs and follow up with issues or concerns.

· Review all shipping schedules to ensure customer schedules are met.

· Track on time delivery and premium freight.

· Coordinate expedites.

· Manage the expendable box inventory as well as customer/container dunnage.

· Review customer portals and communicate accordingly including the portal for bin and rack inventories.

· Coordinate traffic and flow of product in and out of both 540 and 201 locations, including flow of product from our paint provider Onbelay.

· Develop, plan and act upon continuous improvement initiatives with the materials and shipping departments and provide specific direction to all staff to ensure the completion of the established objectives.

· Responsible to investigate inventory accuracy issues and assist the entire materials team with required cycle and daily counts as defined by senior materials management.

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

+ A University degree/College Diploma in the related field preferred.

+ One to three years of supervisory experience.

+ Five to Seven years’ experience in Materials.

+ Strong oral and written communication skills.
