Global consumer brands such as Bacardi, Diageo, Carlsberg, and many others use our Brand Creator technology platform to create customised and brand compliant marketing materials that are produced 100% on-demand through our global cloud printing network.

MRM Global is a high growth scale-up business with an ambition to become an industry leading marketing technology company. Since we launched our Brand Creator platform 5 years ago, we have grown rapidly (average year on year revenue growth of 41%) and have expanded into 35 countries. In 2020, we secured a £2.6m investment from the British Growth Fund (BGF) to fund our continued growth with a focus on expanding rapidly in North America.

Our next phase of growth is the most exciting yet as we scale the business globally and we’re looking for a hands on finance assistant with relevant experience in a growing company to support the finance and wider teams.

What you’ll do;

You’ll be part of a growing finance team of three, managing the UK and US business for finance, accounting and banking. We are a multi-national, multi-currency team with a global corporate customer base. You will be reporting to the Finance Manager and helping them in the daily running of the finance function.

What a typical month will look like in this role: –

• Daily bank reconciliation of multi-currency accounts
• Process employee expenses
• Corporate credit card account management and reconciliation
• Monthly invoicing of customers
• Review of P&L for accuracy and correct categorisation
• Collect and review data for reports
• Processing and paying supplier invoices
• Credit control – overdue debt management

What you’ll bring;

• Working knowledge of Xero, with prior experience
• 2 years’ experience in an accounting role (preferably with an SME)
• Excellent understanding of the workings of the P&L and Balance Sheet
• Previous experience with US invoicing and payments
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel – more knowledge preferred than a Pivot Table!
• Analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise with good time management skills, we have tight deadlines each month

Not essential, it would be a bonus if you;

• Experience with consolidated accounts for multiple entities
• Actively studying for a professional accounting qualification
• Knowledge of Zoho software for reporting and analytics
