MRI Software Hiring for Software Engineer Degree Apprentice Job at Newcastle upon Tyne, England Full Time

MRI Software is seeking a Software Engineer Apprentice to join our team in the one of the UK based Offices – working on a hybrid work schedule.

You will be working to apply defined software development life cycle processes to deliver production ready code of the highest quality, this individual will be diligent in testing their code and working with the team to produce MRI Software’s high standard product.

This individual will work under the Agile development methodology in a cross-functional environment with other groups, both inside and outside the department.

You will be able to gain a deeper understanding of specific programming languages such as C#/ Java.

Approximately 20% of your time will be spent on your University Degree.

Main role / Responsibilities: [will include but not be limited to]:

• Design, code and test software in a variety of languages

• Innovate exciting solutions

• Investigate and use Artificial Intelligence

Desired qualifications:

3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject, plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade C or above.

A-level/B-tech/Apprenticeship level 3 equivalent in IT

Qualifications Gained from Apprenticeship:

BSc (Hons) Software Engineering from the University of Roehampton

Added qualifications:

• Level 4

o Microsoft Azure Fundamentals – (AZ-900)

• Level 5

o Software Engineer Specialism – Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure (AZ-204)

• Level 6

o Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions (AZ-400)

o Prerequisites: AZ104 & AZ-204 (1 of which studied at L5)

Working week: Daily working hours: 9 – 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. 37.5 hours a week.

Salary: £18,000 Per Annum
