Job Title: Senior Data Modeler

Location: Montreal, QC (Onsite)

Years of Experience: 7-12 yrs

Sr Data Modeler

Role Description :

Interact with users to gather business requirements for BI projects and enhancements

Design data architecture for BI projects and enhancements

Create EDW business data models and business rules for all EDW environments

Create data definitions, models and access views

Create BO Universe Structures

Definition of data synchronization and acquisition rules

Definition of data quality and validation rules

Define Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes

Ensure data access optimization

Supply high level and detail estimates for enhancements/projects

Experience in Data Profiling

Experience with DW/BI methods

Knowledge of Data dimensional and relational modeling techniques and tools (Erwin)

SQL and Data Profiling Knowledge

Experience in Business Objects Universe Design & Construction

Expertise with DB2, ORACLE, UDB, Netezza, SQL Server or other database management systems

Specific job experience in business intelligence or data warehouse environment an asset

Excellent communication of both written and spoken English.
